Charles Baker

Charles is an experienced Executive Coach and the leader of executive and team coaching as part of the leadership advisory team at Odgers Berndtson.

He specialises in coaching senior executives and emerging leaders, excelling in fostering innovation, enhancing leadership skills, and driving organisational change. Agnostic of industry, Charles has worked across a multitude of industries, including technology, finance, healthcare, and professional services.

With an approach that leans into contemporary evidence based coaching practices, Charles helps clients navigate complex business challenges, develop emotional intelligence and self-awareness and unlock their personal and professional growth. His client portfolio includes executives from Global multinational companies, high-growth startups, and nonprofit organisations.

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Charles spent nearly 20 years in Executive Search, working predominantly within the UK, and later Australian, technology and professional services space. He is a certified Executive Coach with a degree in Sport and Psychology. And has had advanced training in leadership development and assessment. Charles is passionate about humanistic psychology and takes a whole person approach to coaching projects. Outside of his day-to-day work, Charles coaches Olympic Weightlifters from junior through to national level.
