Brett Irwin

Brett Irwin is a Principal with Odgers Berndtson’s Aerospace, Defense and Security Practice.

Based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, Brett helps the government consulting community with its executive leadership and human capital needs.   

Brett has extensive executive search and leadership advisory experience, with particular expertise recruiting leaders in technology services, artificial intelligence and data analytics. Before joining Odgers Berndtson, Brett founded and led a boutique search firm based in Zurich, Switzerland. He began his career in recruitment in the Zurich office of a global talent acquisition consultancy.  

Prior to his private sector experience, Brett was an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army and led unmanned aviation operators and government contractors in Germany and Afghanistan. His military background, international experience, and focus on emerging technology are unique qualities that provide him valuable perspective in attracting and recruiting top executive talent for our government services clients..

Brett graduated summa cum laude from Bucknell University with a B.A. in political science, economics, and history.
