Derek Wilkinson is a Partner the Washington DC office. He is both the Head of the US Public, Not-for-Profit, and Education Practices and Global Co-Head of the International Development Practice. He has over 25 years of executive search experience with a particular focus on aiding large organizations in managing leadership talent, and extensive experience working with organizations of all sizes to attract and retain leaders from the Board level to the Executive Suite to general management and specialized functional areas.

With experience from two other global search firms, a boutique search firm, and the largest private provider of consultant technology and security talent, Derek has expertise in organizational dynamics and manages multi-layered relationships within the international and domestic public sector, the not-for-profit community, and educational institutions.

Derek is a graduate of Franklin University Switzerland, where he received a BA in International Relations. He has also served on the institution’s Board of Trustees.
