Odgers Berndtson is growing. We’re excited to announce our most recent class of Associates and Consultants from the public and private sectors.    

Faith Sharp

Faith has spent the last 20 years as an Intelligence Analyst in national, multinational, and military environments. She started her career as a Cryptologic Analyst in the U.S. Air Force, working under the National Security Agency (NSA). She previously deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq, providing intelligence to U.S. Army logistics. For the last seven and a half years, Faith has been an Intelligence Research Specialist for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where she specialized in trade-based money laundering, gold smuggling, weapons smuggling, and wildlife trafficking.  

In her most recent role, Faith represented the Department of Homeland Security as part of the international Trade Transparency Unit (TTU), which includes 19 foreign-partner countries, delivering expert training to law enforcement agencies in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, and the UK. Faith holds a BA in International Studies, U.S. Foreign Policy/National Security from American University. 

Tristan Nelson 

For the last six years, Tristan has been a member of the U.S. Capitol Police and for the last four years he has served as a Special Agent assigned to the House Speaker’s Security Detail, supporting both Speaker Pelosi and Speaker Ryan. In his role, he handled the advance work for the Speaker’s domestic and international visits, meeting with local law enforcement, the FBI, local politicians, and high-profile event staff to conduct background checks of everyone with whom the Speaker might come into contact with while also developing detailed security and evacuation plans. On many occasions, he and his team were able to ensure the Speaker’s safety and provide unparalleled security. Tristan has a BS in Accounting from Mount St. Mary’s University and is pursuing an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins University. 

Tray Herndon 

Tray is a Consultant in the Atlanta, GA office. Tray spent the last three years as a Special Agent with the FBI investigating money laundering crimes and matters pertaining to national security. Prior to the FBI, Tray was a Director of Operations at KIPP in Nashville, TN as a champion for urban education. Before KIPP, Tray owned a youth sports franchise, TeamPlayball, and was a Coach. He managed a territory of 12 schools and had 175+ children a week participating in his company’s programs. Earlier in his career he was a 6th grade teacher serving in the Teach for America program and a Middle School Head Football Coach. He has a BS from Vanderbilt University in Human and Organizational Development and an M.Ed from Lehigh University.

Dru Ebenau  

Prior to entering search, Dru was a Diplomat/Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State for over 12 years, serving at overseas posts and headquarters focusing on European, NATO, and Latin American affairs.  His overseas assignments include covering economic, consular, and political affairs at the U.S. Consulate in Monterrey, Mexico and the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw, Poland.  At headquarters in Washington he worked on NATO Policy, Russian Affairs, and energy/commercial diplomacy.  Before diplomatic service, Dru worked for a global travel assistance provider and was an English teacher in Spain.  Dru has an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University, and a BA in International Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
