Alex Acland

Head of the UK Education Practice London

Alex Acland is a Partner and is Head of the UK Education Practice. He predominantly focuses on recruiting leaders of schools, business schools and universities and has been actively involved in the sector since 2001. He has worked with a wide range of clients including Cass Business School, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, Cranfield School of Management, Eton College, INSEAD, Radley College, The Purcell School, United World Colleges, UCL, and the Universities of Southampton, Edinburgh and Oxford. Prior to rejoining Odgers Berndtson, he spent eight years with another search firm and has nearly twenty years experience in the recruitment industry. Alex has a Bachelor of Divinity degree from the University of Edinburgh. He is a trustee and director of Goodenough College and a member of its audit committee.
