Rebus: a technology and mentoring network of passionate and experienced leaders forged from a variety of backgrounds, brought together to actively support and champion the progression of diversity within the UK’s Executive and Non-Executive Boards.
Proudly curated by the Global Technology & IT Services Practice at Odgers Berndtson in partnership with London Business School, Avanade and Google.
“Rebus is something I believe in, I have benefitted in mentoring myself. I hope I can help another woman to rise.” Anna Gatti, NED
Rebus aims to:
Balance the board of the UK’s Technology sector and encourage talented individuals to achieve their full potential
Equip high potential diverse leaders with senior executive mentors who give informal advice, support and guidance
Empower women to achieve Board level career ambition
Instigate change, inspire innovation on boards and drive diversity
Our Mentors and Mentees share why they think mentoring is so important in this short video, with a sneak peek of the brilliant event held at Google’s London office:
What does Rebus do?
Hosts bi-annual speed dating 1-2-1 events with mentors and mentees. These events help establish chemistry between attendees, which is followed by informal mentor pairings and networking relationships.
Rebus sessions are entirely informal, inclusive and have a genuine buzz!
Our mentors are exceptional leaders, CEO’s and NED’s from the Technology sector, their time is given pro-bono guiding mentees keen to make their own path through Executive Leadership to Non-Executive Director and board advisory. We believe diversity within the board room is essential, positively effecting decisions and outcomes culturally, strategically and financially.

Rebus is challenging the sector to achieve gender parity. We ask four business leaders to share their own personal experiences of a time when they chose to challenge.
