David Jones-Cooper

David is a consultant and member of the industrial practice based in London.

David specialises in the metals and mining sector and works with both investors and producers on executive appointments as well as commercial and operational management roles both in the UK and internationally. His clients include major, mid-tier and junior producers both private and plc as well as private equity and alternative asset managers.

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson David spent 10 years in the mining, processing and refining industry, spending considerable time working on projects in a number of different countries in Africa. He has acted as an adviser and consultant to refineries, investors and mining companies on asset origination, project development and the introduction and structuring of finance and investment.

Formerly David worked for more than 10 years in executive search specialising in the capital markets area of investment banking.
