Shirley is Head of Research for Odgers Berndtson, Singapore, where she oversees the Research team to ensure best practices in research and project delivery.
In addition, she supports and manages the delivery of C-level and board search assignments for a broad cross-section of clients in the Technology, Education and Industrial sectors.
Shirley joined Odgers Berndtson in 2015 as a Senior Associate and has worked on many senior appointments, from board roles to regional general management and key functional leadership positions.
Prior to Odgers Berndtson, Shirley was a Director with a US-based executive search firm for over eight years, where she worked on many senior-level searches across the Technology, Telecommunication, Media and Industrial sectors. Shirley began her career in executive search with another US boutique search firm in 2006 specializing in the chemical science sector.
Shirley's corporate experience included sales, marketing and business development roles with increasing responsibility at Eastman Chemical, Exxon Chemical and Nagase. Shirley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Singapore Institute of Management.
