Dr. Alistair Clark

Alistair is a member of Odgers Berndtson’s Global Education Practice with responsibility for leading searches for senior academic and professional appointments for the firm’s higher education clients in Australia. He also leads searches for C-Suite executives for Odgers' commercial education, vocational education and training (VET), and early childhood education clients. He brings more than 10 years of relevant experience and insights from the higher education sector, including as a former lecturer and researcher in Classics at the University of Oxford.

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Alistair led the Sydney office for a leading boutique search and advisory firm, with overall responsibilities for the firm's consulting and research teams. He also led the firm's Chief Executive Officers and Board Advisory Practice, with a focus on C-Suite and other executive leadership and board appointments.

Alistair holds undergraduate degrees in Classics and Law from the University of Melbourne and a master’s degree and doctorate (D.Phil.) from the University of Oxford.
