Sjoerd has more than 7 years experience in different roles in Executive Search. Starting as a Research Consultant and becoming a Consultant at an Odgers Berndtson subsidiary, previously known as Berwick Partners. Here he focused on developing future talent and providing high potential candidates with a sounding board and network. Supporting them towards the next stage of their career. This has given him a broad experience in different aspects of the Executive Search business. Sjoerd leads the research team as Head of Research where he supports new Research Consultants in developing their talent. 

Sjoerd has a Bachelor in Psychology and a Master in Human Resources. He is a keen sportsman with a mentality to win: he plays football, cycles, swims and runs.

For Sjoerd, Odgers Berndtson does not follow a fixed pattern. It is a place open to new ways of working and thinking. Giving him the freedom to think big and outside the box.
