Kaushik DasGupta

Kaushik DasGupta is a Partner in Odgers Berndtson's New Delhi office where he specialises in senior appointments across the Consumer, Media and Retail sectors.

He is involved in leading and managing several key client relationships for the firm in the Asia Pacific region.

Kaushik began his corporate career with J. Thomas & Co., the world’s largest tea broking firm where he focused on product valuation, market analysis and B2B client relationships. He has over two decades of experience and a significant part of that has been in search. Over the years, he has worked with some of the reputed international and large global network search firms. Most recently, he was a Partner at one of the reputed global search firms in India. Throughout his search career, he has worked in origination and management of the execution cycle of Chief Executive/CXO level assignments across the FMCG (including Alco-Bev), Consumer Durables, Media (Print, TV and Digital) and Retail (including luxury) space. He also brings experience of having conducted leadership mandates in the Consumer Health and Medical Devices sectors. In addition, he has worked closely with private equity funds to recruit leadership talent for their portfolio companies as well as with management consultancy firms where he has helped build senior teams for their client organisations.

Kaushik holds an Honours degree in Computing and Information Systems from the University of London, UK.
