Ademar Couto, CEO of Odgers Berndtson Brazil, is a founding member of the firm and has been actively involved since 2003 in executive search for C-level and senior middle management roles at leading national and global companies.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-1985), with a Postgraduate degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (CEAG-1988), and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Finance from New York University (NY, USA). He also completed the executive training program in Corporate Finance at Kellogg Graduate School of Management (USA-1999).
Ademar commenced his professional journey in the financial sector and held the esteemed position of Executive Director of M&A at prominent international banks, including Chase Manhattan Bank, Societe Generále Bank, and Lloyds Bank. Additionally, he contributed significantly to the Capital Markets domain, specializing in structured derivative operations at B3. Outside the corporate realm, Ademar is a valued member of the Sports Directorate at Clube Pinheiros, particularly in Martial Arts. Furthermore, he dedicated four years to serving as a counselor for the Brazilian Confederation of Snow Sports.
