At Odgers Berndtson, Jochem leads the Dutch Board Practice, with a focus on boards of large organisations registered in the Netherlands, including family businesses and cooperatives. He supports them in translating their mission and strategic agenda into effective leadership, with the right composition. Encouraging them to explore ways to maximise their impact.

Jochem also oversees the Healthcare Practice which he started for Odgers Berndtson in the Netherlands in 2006.

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Jochem held positions at Deutsche Bank as an M&A investment banker and as a strategy consultant at Booz & Co. He has lived in various countries in Europe and South-East Asia, and spent a significant amount of time in the United States.

Jochem holds a Master’s degree in business economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. He lives with his wife and two daughters in a small village just north of Amsterdam
