Odgers Berndtson APAC Announces New Partner in Japan, Vijay Deol    

Vijay will be responsible for leading the industrial practice in Japan and will work with his counterparts across APAC and globally to add value to our client’s executive-level talent needs in their Japan operations.  

Vijay has a depth of knowledge in the Japanese talent market and has worked with clients across a range of sectors to support their hiring in Japan.  Based in Japan for over 20 years, he has worked for both multinational and Japanese firms, with experience growing and leading large organizations in both a hands-on capacity, managing search projects, as well as in general management.  Vijay has previously worked to start up the Japan operations of FTSE-listed multinational recruitment firms and most recently as the President and Representative Director of one of the largest Japanese recruitment firms.  

Vijay will bring an extensive professional network to Odgers Berndtson that will add value to clients and job seekers both to enhance the pool of talent they can connect to as well as advise on the challenges of navigating the Japanese labour market.
