CEO of PropertyGuru will be shadowed by a student for a day
The CEO of PropertyGuru is among six captains of industry in Singapore taking part in a scheme to allow students to become chief executives for a day.
Hari V Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer at PropertyGuru Group, will mentor a potential executive of the future.
Students shadow the chief executive for a day to gain insight into the qualities needed to lead a major corporation and make it to the top of the business world.
The CEO for a Day program is run by recruitment firm Odgers Berndtson, which launched it in 2004.
Other firms signed up for the challenge include Johnson & Johnson, Lloyd’s, Saxo Group, Siemens Healthineers and Bayer Pharmaceuticals.
Penultimate and final year undergraduates in Singapore can apply.
A seasoned general manager, Hari has almost two decades of industry leadership in technology and consumer internet organisations across Asia Pacific and the United States. He has spent the last dozen years helping offline industries in Asia ‘go digital’.
As the Chief Executive Officer at PropertyGuru Group, Hari leads the Group’s direction and strategy, across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Previously, Hari was the Vice President & Managing Director, APAC & Japan at LinkedIn, where he led more than 1,000 employees across 10 offices, having joined the company as the first hire in the Asia Pacific region.
He is a board member of the Singapore chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), an organisation focused on fostering entrepreneurship, and acts as an Advisor to innovative start-ups - BillionBricks, DataStreamX and HackerTrail.
Kester Scrope, chief executive of Odgers Berndtson, said, “CEO for a Day is about opening doors at companies and top organisations for talented young people who might not otherwise have the chance.”
Application will close on November 17th and winners will take CEO days in February 2018. ceox1day.com.sg
