13 University Students Selected for CEOx1Day 2019-2020
Connecting leaders of today with leaders of tomorrow.
Singapore, 3 February, 2019 - The CEOx1Day (CEO for a Day) is back for the third edition in Singapore. This global initiative, with Singapore as the first Asia country running this programme, provides an opportunity for promising future leaders to spend a day with today's top leaders. This platform allows our young talents to be in the shoes of our leaders, experiencing firsthand the complexities they face and responsibilities required to lead some of the world's leading businesses and organisations. Through the one-day interaction, CEOs and leaders on the other hand, get to have a better understanding on what motivates and drives the next generation of leaders.
This year’s programme attracted 180 undergraduate student applicants for 13 finalist places. We have 2 new tertiary institutions participating in this programme, namely Yale-NUS and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). Returning participating institutions include National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and with Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
