On June 5th, close to 1,000 people from the technology and business community converged at the Vancouver Convention Centre to celebrate the achievements of British Columbia’s top technologies, companies and individuals, at the annual Technology Impact Awards dinner hosted by the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA). Odgers Berndtson was pleased to sponsor and present the Emerging Company of the Year Award to QuickMobile - a company that is transforming meetings and events with mobile apps. QuickMobile's event app platform creates an always-on communication channel that allows event owners to increase attendee participation, build loyalty and generate revenue through richer experiences.

The other deserving finalists for this award were Aquatic Informatics, a company that synergizes clean tech and software to measure water quality in a range of environments, and banking software provider Zafin. In celebration of BC as a hot-bed of innovation, we would also like to congratulate Cooledge Lighting as the winner of the Product Innovation Award, and in the category of Most Promising Pre-commercial Technology Award, winning satellite provider UretheCast and the following finalists: exciting clean-tech start-up  Axine Water Technologies, and high-growth mobile messaging and compliance leader Global Relay.
