Lauren Shearer

Lauren is an Associate in the Technology and IT Services Practice where she focuses on executive leadership appointments with a particular specialism in infrastructure, cyber security, storage, high performance computing and virtualisation software. She re-joined the Practice in 2017 following a one-year secondment to the Chair and NED Practice where she assisted on commercial non-executive mandates for a variety of clients including FTSE 250, AIM-listed, privately owned and international businesses. Lauren has been with the firm since 2014, where she initially joined as a Researcher in the Technology and IT Services Practice.

A New Zealander, she joined Odgers Berndtson following three years’ as a Research Associate in a boutique executive search firm. There she was engaged in national and cross-border chief executive and senior leadership appointments in infrastructure, professional services, central and local government, health and education.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science, Psychology (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Human Resources and Management) from Victoria University of Wellington (NZ).
