Katie Boucher joins our Executive Assessment and Development Practice

Katie Boucher will assist the team grow the practice, given demand for leadership advisory services as CEOs and other C-suite executives navigate an increasingly complex world.

We are delighted to announce the new addition to the leadership practice in the UK. Katie will directly support technology, life sciences, government and housing, professional services, and entertainment practices. She is already working with the technology practice on the Scale-Up Collective initiative and with the CIO practice on exploring succession.

Having worked as a leadership consultant since 2017, supporting global organisations with their leadership and broader talent requirements Katie’s perspective is:

“Today's leadership challenges are multifaceted, complex, and involve constant navigation of competing and rapidly shifting priorities. On one hand leaders need to juggle globalisation and growth with sensitivity to geopolitical tensions and contrasting worldviews. On the other, they need to balance corporate social responsibility with profitability, and manage a stream of black-swan events and an economic downturn without losing sight of their long-term vision. All this, while inspiring, engaging and developing workforces in an era of hybrid work and extreme levels of turnover.”

“In this environment of complexity, leaders cannot rely on previous experience alone to guarantee future success. Instead, qualities such as agility, resilience, integrity and potential for growth are going to be the key differentiators. Having an objective measure of these traits can help boards appoint leaders who are equipped to handle unpredictable future challenges.”

She has a BA in psychology from Trinity College, Dublin, and an MSc from Kings College, London. She is TUA/TUP qualified and accredited in a range of psychometric tools including Hogan Suite, Saville Wave, and 16PF.

Odger's Berndtson's Leadership Assessment and Development Practice supports and advises senior leaders and their organisations on key issues such as assessing candidates for senior leadership roles, evaluating board effectiveness, succession planning, and executive development. With CEO turnover in 2022 well above average, these services are seeing more demand than ever.

Liz Stewart, partner and head of the leadership assessment and development practice, said, “Katie brings a strong skillset and extensive sector experience to the practice. With the leadership paradigm growing in complexity and c-level responsibilities becoming broader, her background and expertise means we are well placed to meet our clients’ needs.”
