Peter Viqueira

Peter is a Partner in the Education Practice of Odgers Berndtson based in Leeds.

He has been in the business for over ten years and focuses on appointments within the field of Higher Education at the most senior levels. This includes Chairs and Board Members, Vice-Chancellors, Deputy and Pro Vice-Chancellors, Deans and Directors of Professional Service Functions, amongst others. More broadly he has assisted a range of sector agencies with senior appointments over the years, including the Chief Executives for HEFCE and UUK, amongst others.

Prior to Odgers, Peter spent 4 years as a Consultant with another national Executive Search and Selection firm focusing on a wide range of appointments across a variety of sectors and functions. Prior to his work within Executive Search and Selection, Peter spent a period of time overseas in Japan, working with their Ministry of Education to devise and implement new methods of teaching and best practice.

Peter holds a BA Honours in History from the University of Nottingham.
