India
Asia continues to play a major part in the development and growth of the global gambling industry.
Largely, through land-based casinos, the region is home to some of the biggest and best gaming hubs in the world. In addition, a number of countries are building large-scale resorts to attract customers and increase tax revenues. Online, regulation largely prohibits the growth of this form of gambling in Asia, but this has not prevented the continued rise of a number of Asian bookmakers.
