What exactly can we expect to achieve by completing the IRD?
Identify with a laser focus where and how to make your organisations recruitment process more inclusive, how to attract more and a wider range of talent, and ensure candidate equity as they progress through the six stages of the recruitment process.
How long will the process take start to finish?
Approximately two weeks from start to finish:
Why can I not book the call earlier than 10 days from the self-assessment?
The recommendation report is 25 to 35 pages long, and from experience, organisations benefit most from the feedback strategy call when they have had time to digest and review the report in detail, hence the time delay between the self-assessment and the feedback core. Earlier appointments can be scheduled directly by contacting us click here.
How much is it going to cost?
For non-charitable organisations, the fee is £3,950 and for registered charities, the fee is £2,950. Click here to see our pricing structure and instructions on how to make payment.
Who in my organisation should complete the assessment?
The assessment should ideally be carried out by 2-3 people together, a representative from HR who has an in-depth understanding of the organisation's recruitment practices, and a line manager who is actively hiring, to get a balanced view of your approach to talent acquisition process.
What type of recommendations are you going to make to our internal recruitment process?
Pragmatic, evidence-based recommendations on how to make your recruitment process more inclusive. We ask organisations to spend a few minutes at the start of the debrief call to outline the context of their organisation and main challenges, and so all recommendations are tailored to have maximum impact for the organisation.
We have different recruitment methodologies by level, which should I choose when completing the self-assessment?
The IRD is a diagnostic to review your recruitment philosophy across the organisation, if you have highly variable recruitment strategies, then we recommend choosing the method with the highest volume of recruitment, or where you believe there is the highest need for change. Another option is to carry out several diagnostics.
Are the results confidential? Who sees them?
Absolutely, they are only available to you, and will be sent only to the email used to register your organisation for the Inclusive Recruitment Diagnostic.
How do I know if my organisation is a 1.1 or 2.9 on the maturity scale?
For each question, we ask organisations to rank their current maturity on a scale of 1-4, where 1-2 is entry, 2-3 is emerging and 3-4 is mature. For each level we provide a descriptor outlining an example of actions that represent that level of maturity. Organisations need to reflect on their current practices, and if they don’t demonstrate the specific example given, what practices they do have, would they lead to the same outcome of an equitable process.
Can I have separate assessments for different divisions of my organisation in the same country?
Yes, there is an additional fee of £2,950 (£1,950 for registered charities) for each separate Inclusive Recruitment Diagnostics of an organisation within the same country. Additional countries are charged at the full rate.
Is there any kind of follow-up after the one-to-one meetings?
Yes, we are available to support you on an ongoing basis consultancy to make your recruitment process and workplace more inclusive.
You will join our exclusive inclusive recruitment alumni, where you will benefit from:
Will the assessment track exactly where we are losing people throughout our recruitment process as it stands? E.g. started with a diverse candidate list and lost people at long-list or short-list and why?
No, because the diagnostic does not analyse the candidate recruitment pipeline data of your organisation. The diagnostic does however enable you to pinpoint where your processes and practices are not enabling all candidates to progress equitably, and so actions can be put in place to enable diversity to flourish at all steps of the recruitment process.
Will you be able to tell me how my results compare to other companies?
Yes, we offer a benchmarking report (for a small fee) to identify how your organisation compares to the complete data pool of organisations completing the IRD and also by sector.
