Allen Reed is a Partner in Odgers Berndtson’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practices and has over 20 years of executive search and management consulting experience. His expertise ranges from senior operating, commercial and general management roles right up through the executive suite (CEO, CFO, COO) and board of director recruitment. Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Mr. Reed led Reed & Associates for seven years - a retained executive search firm exclusively serving health care and life sciences clientele. Prior to that, he was a partner at two leading retained executive search firms, including Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates. Prior to search, Mr. Reed worked in healthcare at the Advisory Board Company, a leading, publicly traded healthcare strategic research and consulting firm. He also founded and chairs a health and wellness related operating company in the Washington D.C. area. Allen holds an MBA, with a concentration in Healthcare Management, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, with distinction, University of Virginia.
