Insights on the Ground: From the Bay Area to our Backyard

After a recent trip to San Francisco, Claire Conachy and Tom Buckley reflect on the future of the Silicon Valley stronghold and how shifting societal, industrial and investor behaviours impact EMEA and APAC, as well as considering the opportunities for the future of the Technology landscape globally:

The fascination with the heart and hub of the technology industry has always been, at least to the outside perspective, a thing of great interest. As two individuals who have worked in and around the tech sector for Odgers Berndtson, helping to shape the leadership teams of some of the world’s leading technology companies, it’s only fair to observe that our searches and conversations often take us back West, to the root of it all, and to the perceived centre of the tech universe.

In this downloadable insight piece, Claire and Tom share their update on their recent visit to the Bay Area. The visit to San Francisco and Silicon Valley included meeting with clients, and having a host of new conversations around workforce migration and astute technology investment.
