Tony Gaffney

Tony Gaffney is Managing Partner, Board and CEO Services at Odgers Berndtson, Canada. He brings over 25 years of extensive Board and C-suite leadership experience across a wide variety of sectors and organizations.

Tony was CEO of Aon Hewitt, Canada and a key member of their Global Executive Committee. Before joining Aon Hewitt, Tony was a Managing Partner at Accenture, and has served as the President and CEO of Bell Nexxia and as the CEO of BCE Emergis. He has also held international leadership positions with MCI Telecommunications, SHL Systemhouse Inc., and Andersen Consulting.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.A.I.) degree and M.A. from Trinity College Dublin, and is a graduate of the Rotman Corporate Directors program (ICD.D). He also serves on the boards of Loblaw’s, President’s Choice Bank, the Altus Group and the Bishop Strachan School. Tony has previously served on the boards of the Toronto Region Board of Trade, Crescent School, Canada’s Walk of Fame and the United Way Cabinet.
