Joy D’Amore

Joy D’Amore is Head of Talent Acquisition at Odgers Berndtson. Joy has spent the last twenty-five years in executive leadership Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Human Resources roles within Private Equity, Technology – (Fintech, Ecommerce, and Supply Chain), and Strategy Consulting industries.

Prior to Odgers Berndtson, Joy was Director of Executive Search within the private equity consulting arm of CBIZ. There she was one of the leaders in the retained executive search division, leading CFO searches for the Firm’s private equity clients. Earlier in her career, Joy spent several years heading Talent Acquisition and Portfolio Executive Search for the global private equity firm H.I.G. Capital and was VP of HR at FOLIO Investments, an online brokerage technology company that was later acquired by Goldman Sachs. Joy began her career as an attorney clerking for a U.S. Federal District Court Judge in South Carolina.

Joy received her B.A. from Wesleyan University and J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law. She has completed extensive M.S. coursework in Organizational Development from American University and NTL Institute.
