Eileen is a people, culture, and communications leader skilled at working with senior leadership and management teams to identify opportunities for people and culture improvements. As a certified coach, her practice encompasses career development and renewal, helping her clients to embrace opportunities to define career objectives aligned with personal goals and expectations. Combining coaching with her additional skills in mediation, negotiation and communications, Eileen provides clients with balanced perspectives that help them realize their opportunities and potential.
Prior to coaching and career management, Eileen spent 15 years as a communications professional, providing counsel to senior-level management and internal teams. She has worked in corporate, non-profit and post-secondary environments, focusing on team leadership, program management, strategic communications, public and government affairs, media relations and internal communications. Eileen is a regular monthly columnist with the Globe and Mail and trusted thought leader on people, culture, and career trends, as well as a source for other national and local publications and radio outlets.
Eileen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba, a diploma in Corporate Communications from Centennial College and a certificate in Strategic Management from the University of Calgary. She is a certified coach through the International Coaches Federation and the Coaches Training Institute. Eileen is a member of the International Coaches Federation and the Human Resources Institute of Alberta.
