The Toronto Region Board of Trade’s Annual Dinner is a marquee event that gathered the city’s top builders, influencers, business leaders and politicians for an elegant evening of exclusive networking at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre on Thursday, February 9, 2017.
The event was kicked off by Toronto Region Board of Trade’s President and CEO, Janet De Silva who described the region’s successes and its potential for being one of the most competitive and sought after business regions in the world. The keynote speaker George Cope, President and CEO of BCE and Bell Canada, spoke about how the company is significantly investing in advanced broadband networks across Toronto and the GTA to better the region. The closing inspirational remarks were given by Susan MacIsaac, Immediate Past-President of the Toronto and York Region United Way who was the recipient of the Toronto Region Builder Award.
