Odgers Berndtson Partner, Roberta Chow recently participated in FEI Canada’s 10th annual Executive Recruitment and Career Management Panel at The Albany Club, in Toronto. With more than 20 years of recruitment expertise under her belt, Roberta shared her career advice with over 40 finance executives from a variety of companies including CIBC, Avison Young and KPMG LLP.

The FEI Canada event is designed to offer CFOs and senior finance professionals insights on the job market, executive search strategies and career management. Some of the topics covered included how finance executives can plan for their next move and how they can prepare for responsibilities outside of finance, including moves to general management/CEO positions – a trend highlighted in our CFO report.
