Odgers Berndtson Canada, in partnership with The Globe and Mail, TalentEgg, Hogan Assessments, Indspire, and The Canadian Association of Business Students, is pleased to announce that applications for the CEOx1Day Future Leaders Summit officially open today, Monday October 25th, 2021.

Founded over 10 years ago by our Odgers Berndtson colleagues in Germany, the CEOx1Day program provides leadership development, career insights, and executive networking opportunities to the world’s most promising students. Today, the program runs in more than 10 Odgers Berndtson offices worldwide including the United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Belgium, Australia, South Africa, and Singapore.

The 2021/2022 CEOx1Day program will culminate in the Future Leaders Summit on February 25th, 2022. This virtual event will feature some of Canada’s most impressive leaders sharing insights about their own career journey, what their organizations need in terms of talent, and how to stand out in a competitive recruitment process. This year’s executive participants include:

“As a leadership advisory firm, we have the privilege of connecting with extraordinary people every day; yet we recognize that many Canadians, young Canadians in particular, often don’t have access to these leaders, so our intention has always been to connect these two worlds – Canada’s top business leaders and the next generation of talent,” said Carl Lovas, Chief Executive Officer of Odgers Berndtson Canada. “Our hope is that our student and executive participants leave the event feeling inspired, motivated, and optimistic about the future of work and their careers.”

Since 2013, Odgers Berndtson Canada has hosted the CEOx1Day program matching passionate young leaders with CEOs from over 120 organizations including PayPal, Lululemon, Cineplex, Manulife, IKEA, MEC, De Beers, VanCity, Plan Canada, and Amnesty International.

This year, we encourage third and fourth-year students from universities and colleges across the country to apply for an experience that will parallel a real-world job search, while providing personal leadership insights and expert career advice.
