Régis Schultz is President of Al Futtaim Group Retail division. Operating in three regions, Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia, the Retail division spreads across 15 countries and runs more than 70 world leading brands such as IKEA, Marks & Spencer, Nike, Guess, Toys R Us, Zara, to name a few.

Prior to joining Al-Futtaim last year, Régis Schultz was CEO of Monoprix and member of executive committee of Group Casino, CEO of Darty, CEO of BUT and top executive of Kingfisher PLC. Régis Schultz has extensive retail experience with a focus on organizational change and digital transformation.

Régis Schultz is known for driving organizational change through implementation of innovative management systems, digital transformation and revolutionary customer service. He has delivered the transformation of BUT from an old fashion organization and loosing share business, to the number two French furniture retailer. He was named the architect of Darty’s turnaround, moving Darty’s share price from 30p when he joined the company, to 170p in 2016. During his mandate at Monoprix, Régis Schultz has overseen an outstanding transformation, launching and driving company’s digital strategy, signing a partnership with Amazon and Ocado, and accelerating Monoprix’s sustainable development.
