Guido Ferralasco

MD, Ferrero

Ferralasco is an Italian Managing Director with 20 years of international accomplishments overseeing all commercial functions, including strategy development, sales development and marketing with in-depth analytical and strategic ability to facilitate operational and procedural planning. He has extensive experience implementing commercial procedures, mitigating risk and contributing to the overall strategic achievements of businesses globally creating commercial structures while promoting the merits of robust processes and procedures. Ferralasco started his career in 1998 in London with Ferrero, as Marketing Manager for the Kinder and Snack division before progressing through a number of Sales/Account Manager roles and Sales Director in 2003.

Since 2005, he has been leading different international assignments with Ferrero from Pralines category director & area marketing Director in Luxembourg, Commercial Director in Italy, to Managing Director in Sweden then most recently for the Gulf. Ferralasco has played a key role in the growth of Ferrero on an international level, launching product innovation, increase Market shares & profit in challenging markets, implement new concepts and joint business plans with costumers, to opening new business unit.

In his most recent assignment, Ferralasco inaugurated the new regional Business unit where he had to build the company structure, created a team of over 50 staff over first year of presence, established processes and tools to ensure alignment of all areas of the business under one commercial strategy while ensuring achievements in a period of economic and financial downturn.
