CEOx1Day Evening Reception at the Dubai Opera House

In late October 2017, we held our first CEOx1Day event in the Sean Connolly garden terrace at the Dubai Opera House, to celebrate the successful end of our first year running CEOx1Day in the UAE. 

Mark Houghton, Managing Director and Sophie Robertson, Project Manager alongside the Dubai team, welcomed an intimate gathering of guests including: the finalist students, the participating CEOs from the project, university faculty members from each participating university and potential CEOs for 2018's project, to the event. 

 

With Guest Speakers: Guido Ferralasco, Managing Director of Ferrero (one of the participating CEOs for the CEOx1Day project this year) and Martin Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of OSN (another of the CEOs participating for the programme), regaling guests with their experiences of the days with the students, and entertaining those attending with anecdotes, the evening was a great success.

The Rt Honourable Baroness Virginia Bottomley, Chair of Odgers Berndtson, gave a well-received closing speech and the evening concluded with networking and socialising.

We were thrilled by the turn out on the evening and the responses from the CEOs who have signed up to participate for our second year running CEOx1Day. We greatly look forward to our next project launching in January 2018 and the new leaders of the future participating in the programme.
