John Jakenfelds is the Chair of the Life Sciences Practice, based in Odgers Berndtson's London office.
He handles senior positions for biopharma, medical device, diagnostic and other life sciences businesses. John began his career in the UK with management consultants Arthur D. Little. He then worked in the US with American Hospital Supply Corporation before holding pan European Marketing roles with Squibb. He also worked with Glaxo in Global Marketing and Licensing positions. With Odgers Berndtson, he has also managed the Group's Swiss office and the UK Assessment team. Prior to joining the Group, he advised pharma companies on pricing and launch strategies and ran a software company collecting real-world evidence data. He has lectured on commercial strategies for Management Centre Europe in Brussels.
John, a British citizen, was educated at Harvard College, where he took a degree in History and Economics, and Northwestern's Kellogg School, where he took his Master's degree in Management.
