Penny Mirams

Penny Mirams enjoys the excitement and all the possibilities that come with each new search. With more than 15 years of executive search experience, Penny has spent the last seven of those years as an integral part of Odgers Berndtson’s Health Care team. During that time, she led a broad range of successful searches for clients in institutional and community health care, as well as long-term care homes, foundations, health-related charities and member organizations.

Prior to joining the firm, Penny spent a number of years as a consultant in executive search and career outplacement, and before that was involved with a number of entrepreneurial start-ups. Penny says that seeing the ups and downs of a new business helped her learn to take risks and have faith that there is always a solution to each organization’s challenges. And she prides herself on using creative ways to get great results for her clients.

With more 200 searches under her belt, Penny has established herself as one of Canada’s leading healthcare search consultants. Clients call her “insightful” and “intuitive,” and they often praise her for her “pragmatic” approach.
