Kurt Brusgaard is Partner and Chairman of Odgers Berndtson A/S, Copenhagen focusing on board, CEO and CFO searches, both nationally and abroad.
He established Berndtson International in the Nordic countries in 1979 and during more than 30 years has conducted numerous board and director level recruitments for organisations in the private and public sectors.
Kurt was formerly Managing Director of A.E. Schmidt A/S, Consultant with Lisberg Marketing A/S, Assistant to the CEO of Spies Leisure Group and Sales Manager with Hjelm Bang A/S. He has extensive board experience and is currently Chairman of Pointer A/S, Board Member and Chairman of the Shareholders' Representatives in Jyske Bank A/S (the second largest independent Danish bank), Member of the Board at Boerneringen (organisation co-ordinating 50 independent institutions for children and young people) as well as Honorary Consul for Trinidad and Tobago in Denmark.
A former reserve Army officer, Kurt holds a BSc degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor's degree in management and organisation.
