Keith M. Gaspard is Managing Director in Philadelphia specializing in senior executive search assignments with clients in the life sciences and advanced technology industries. His work in life sciences covers the entire sector including medical devices, diagnostics, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.
Keith has worked with a diverse client base including Fortune 500 companies, small and mid-size public and private companies, as well as, venture capital backed start-ups conducting search assignments for CEO's and other senior functional roles. With 18 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience with Owens Corning, as well as, leading two start-ups from concept to commercialization, Keith combines unique business perspective and insight with seasoned assessment skills to identify and recruit candidates that truly make a difference for his clients and their businesses. His consultative style and insightful approach have distinguished Keith as a trusted advisor and resulted in his selection as the only external partner to participate on a Johnson & Johnson task force focused on talent development, acquisition, and succession planning. Keith also has worked closely with clients in their respective efforts to recruit, retain, and develop highly diverse leadership talent.
Prior to joining Diversified Search, Keith was a senior vice president for a global boutique where he established their Boston office, achieving strong revenue growth and profitability within the first year and leading their efforts nationally in life sciences. Keith began his career in executive search as a vice president of a top 20 retained executive search firm and in 2000 was recruited to Heidrick & Struggles as Partner. At Heidrick & Struggles, Keith conducted searches for executives for emerging companies working closely with numerous venture capital firms in recruiting CEOs and other senior leadership for their portfolio companies.
Keith is active in serving on committees for various industry associations including PABio and MassMEDIC. He is also currently a member of the Board of Trustees for Outward Bound Philadelphia. Keith graduated with a BSc in Engineering from Union College and a degree in Technology from North Carolina State University.
