Fatima Koumbarji is the Head of the Education Practice and is based in our London office. Her work focus is mainly on the recruitment of senior executive and non-executive roles in the field of education within the public sector, including the skills sector, environment, schools and Academies.
Previously, Fatima was a Director of a national search firm where she headed up the Education Practice as well as leading on a portfolio of related assignments across a range of sectors, including not-for-profit, central government and local government. Prior to her career in search Fatima spent 15 years in the public sector where she had a range of roles from teaching to heading up the Public Affairs Department for the first elected Mayor of London.
She has considerable experience of recruiting into senior roles across the education and social care sectors throughout the UK. She is an experienced facilitator and through her assignment work has developed and delivered a range of stakeholder activities to secure diverse participation in decision making, including both the Commissioner for Children and Young People for Northern Ireland and the Children’s Commissioner for England.
