For the second year running leading executive search firm Odgers Berndtson Sub-Saharan Africa will connect SA’s top CEOs and MBA students with its CEO For A Day programme.
The team of executive search experts at Odgers Berndtson will conduct a rigorous four-phase selection process to short-list students and each successful finalist will have an opportunity to shadow a CEO for a full day.
This programme benefits students who have the theoretical knowledge about leadership and want to experience the practical side. It gives them the opportunity to see leadership in action and exposes future leaders to actual role models.
CEOs will gain insights into what drives the next generation of leaders and how organisations can stay attractive to top talent.
Participating CEOs include:
• Jeff Milliken of Brandhouse
• Brian Finch of British American Tobacco
• Charles Brewer of DHL
• James Barty of King James Group
• Robert Otty of Norton Rose Fulbright
• Albertinah Kekana of Royal Bafokeng Holdings
• Mark Bowman of SABMiller Africa
• Graeme Stephens of Sun International
• Noel Guliwe of Aspen Pharmacare
• Ross Faragher-Thomas of Virgin Active Group.
