Viraj G Kocharekar

Viraj Kocharekar is a Principal with Odgers Berndtson based in Mumbai. He specializes and represents the firm in the Lifesciences and Healthcare sectors, respectively. In addition, he also contributes to the Board & Leadership Advisory Practice in India.

As a seasoned management consultant, Viraj harnesses his core competencies of intra-preneurship, curiosity, and transformative thinking to architect scalable and measurable talent solutions, that span the entire employee journey. 

Before joining Odgers Berndtson, Viraj worked with the Manpower Group for around a decade and served in multiple leadership (P&L) roles for the India business. In his last role as Vice President – Consulting Solutions for Right Management (100% subsidiary of Manpower), Viraj worked extensively in the leadership, talent, and career advisory solutions across multiple sectors. Before this, he led the incubation of the search business for one of Asia’s largest recruitment start-ups, Recruit Group Japan (that later acquired the Stanton Chase Franchise), and before that, he worked with one the leading global executive search firms focusing on leadership searches for clients in the FMCG, OTC, Pharmaceuticals and Food/Flavour Ingredients companies, respectively. 

Viraj is an accredited consultant with The Birkman Method. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from the SIES College of Management Studies, in Mumbai.
