Dr. Kai Böttcher

Kai Böttcher helps to recruit executives for senior management positions primarily in process-driven industries, especially in the chemicals sector. He also supports the aviation industry as well as corporations and large mid-sized companies with an infrastructure focus, particularly in the telecommunications and logistics sectors.

Before joining Odgers Berndtson, he was a long-time executive in sales and solution management at Deutsche Post DHL. Prior to that, he helped to build up an e-business company in the new economy as the board member responsible for marketing, sales and human resources, and founded and sold two service companies.

The graduate economist studied economics at the University of Hanover, where he subsequently earned a doctorate in innovation and environmental management at the Chair of Corporate Management. Another focus of his research was the quality management of service companies.
