Joanna Kraft, PhD

Dr. Joanna Kraft is Head of the Canadian Leadership Advisory Practice. She spearheads the Canadian team, fostering growth and leveraging the firm’s expanded Leadership Advisory Practice (LAP) offering. The LAP is instrumental in helping organizations build more resilient leaders, teams, and organizations to create value in an increasingly complicated world. The LAP’s strategy and talent alignment practices include Succession & Executive Integration, Leadership Assessment, Executive & Team Coaching, Strategic Planning, and Board Effectiveness. Joanna also engages in client projects nationally, playing a pivotal role in helping clients create sustainable plans for leadership and organizational excellence.

In her prior role as Partner and Head of Succession and Development at Odgers Berndtson, Joanna was instrumental in creating effective succession and leadership growth strategies that leveraged data-driving insights. Before that, she served as the North American Assessment Practice Lead at a global talent consulting company where she helped expand its assessment practice. Her experience also includes roles as an Organizational Psychology Consultant for a boutique consulting firm, and as an Organizational Effectiveness Consultant for a multinational home improvement retail corporation.

Joanna holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Arts specializing in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Windsor, along with a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University. She is also an Associate Certified Coach within the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
